Tomb Raider Collector's Edition Unboxing

Here's a quick and dirty run-down of what you get in the new Tomb Raider Collector's Edition box.

Firstly, the box is large and tin.

Let's open it and peel back the layers.

Above is the game case, soundtrack DLC, soft pouch and hardcover artbook. The pouch also includes a drawstring to attach to a belt or something. It's made from rather flimsy plastic so it's probably not a good idea to store something too heavy in it.

The artbook is about 30 pages long and has conceptual art, character art and various renders.

The double sided poster and map with size reference.

And finally, the figurine.

There weapons can be attached and the hands changed. The limbs are articulated and make a nasty snapping sound when moved. The paintwork is extremely impressive! The facial expression is not too bad either.

The ball joints are clearly visible but are not too distracting. I'm sure she'll look even better when she's outfitted and posed properly. No stand is included and care is needed to set the figurine so it balances properly. We'll do a proper photo shoot of her soon.
